After maintaining contacts with the consultative representations of kyiv, Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the team of Miguel Lopez International Lawyers has learned that the consulates continue to process residencies for Russian and Ukrainian citizens. In the event that this route ceases in Ukraine, the competent consulate to process these permits for Ukrainian citizens will be that of Warsaw.

In the case of residences for investors, under Law 14/2013, Russian citizens who are in Spain must process the residence with a Schegen tourist visa here. As for Ukrainian citizens, as they are exempt from a visa, they must in any case do so within the first 90 days of their stay in Spain.
