The Supreme Court has annulled two sanctions for having presented the model 720 after the deadline. These are two tax residents in Spain, who declared the ownership of assets and rights in Switzerland after the deadline.
Indeed, in 2014 they presented form 720 for the 2012 financial year. In 2016 the Tax Agency classified the offense as very serious with a penalty of 5.800 euros. In addition to annulling said sanction, the Supreme Court with this sentence, opens the retroactive route prior to the sentence issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union of 27/01/2022. It is to be expected a barrage of claims to the Tax Agency for all the sanctions filed by the famous model 720.
